Every major music retailer runs a school band and orchestra rental program — it is one of the largest, steadiest revenue channels in this industry, and it depends entirely on a coordinator who can manage a rotating fleet of instruments, real relationships with band and orchestra directors, and the brutal seasonal crunch of back-to-school signups, all without letting any of it show to the families involved.
This course covers fleet management (sizing, condition tracking, turnaround between rentals), building and maintaining real school relationships, running an efficient seasonal rental signup process, and the sizing/exchange logistics that are unique to string and some wind instruments as students grow. You will finish able to run a rental program that a school director actually wants to keep recommending to families.
