Vendor Onboarding Requirements

Basic Account and Verification Requirements

Before listing any products, a new vendor typically needs to complete identity and business verification, provide accurate contact and return-address information, and agree to the Marketplace’s seller policies — these requirements protect buyers and establish accountability from the start.

Why Verification Matters

Verification requirements exist to protect buyers from fraudulent sellers and to ensure any issues (returns, disputes, warranty questions) have a real, accountable party behind them — skipping or rushing this step undermines the trust the whole Marketplace depends on.

Setting Up Payment and Fulfillment

A vendor needs a working payment method for receiving proceeds and a clear, realistic fulfillment plan (how orders will be packed and shipped, and in what timeframe) before listings go live — committing to a fulfillment timeline the vendor can’t actually meet damages their standing quickly.

Reviewing Policies Before Listing

New vendors should review the Marketplace’s specific policies (prohibited items, condition disclosure requirements, return policy minimums) before creating their first listing, rather than learning them reactively after a policy violation.
