About the Role
Magic Kingdom Music is seeking a skilled and creative Mixing Engineer to join our growing music production team. This role is ideal for professionals who have a passion for transforming raw recordings into polished, commercial-quality productions. You’ll work closely with artists, producers, musicians, and vocalists to create balanced, dynamic, and emotionally engaging mixes across a variety of musical genres.
Whether you’re mixing pop, rock, country, orchestral, acoustic, electronic, or cinematic music, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional audio experiences for listeners worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Mix multi-track recording sessions into professional-quality productions.
- Balance vocals, instruments, effects, and dynamics for optimal clarity.
- Apply EQ, compression, reverb, delay, automation, and other processing techniques.
- Collaborate with producers, artists, and recording engineers to achieve the desired sound.
- Prepare mixes for mastering and digital distribution.
- Ensure audio quality meets commercial streaming standards.
- Organize and manage recording sessions and project files.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
Qualifications
- Experience mixing music in professional or home studio environments.
- Strong understanding of audio engineering principles.
- Excellent critical listening skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of gain staging, stereo imaging, dynamics, and frequency balance.
- Ability to work across multiple music genres.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio of completed mixing projects is highly preferred.
