Listings must represent genuine, authentic products — misrepresenting a replica or unofficial product as an authentic branded item is both a policy violation and a serious trust breach with buyers.

Policy violations can range from listing removal to account suspension, depending on severity and whether the violation is a first occurrence or a repeated pattern — understanding this range helps vendors take compliance seriously from the start.

Staying Current With Policy Updates

Marketplace policies can be updated over time, so vendors should periodically review current policy rather than assuming the rules they learned during onboarding remain unchanged indefinitely.
